Oh hello there!

My name is kaitlyn and i am a watercolour & calligraphy artist in calgary alberta.

Thank you so much for visiting my site! I am so excited to share my passion and work with you. All of our pieces are designed with attention to detail and are a one of a kind, personalized piece, made just for you! I cannot wait to work together to create some beautiful art for you.

From a young age I loved all styles of art, music and dance. I started teaching myself watercolour and calligraphy in preparation for my own wedding in 2017. I was lucky enough to take a few courses in Calgary and I fell in love and have not put the paintbrush down yet. I signed up for an amazing online course from one of my favourite artists and decided to pursue my passion and Kaitlyn Elizabeth Ann was started.

I would describe my calligraphy style as very whimsical, playful, and definitely more modern. It is a style that is more artistic with a bounce and flowey-ness to it. I am constantly learning and expanding my knowledge of calligraphy, watercolour and lettering.

When I am not painting, I love to hang out with my hubby Brent and our daughters Everly and Claire. We love to take off to the mountains as much as possible. Living here we are definitely spoiled by having them less than an hour away. We love to go hiking and exploring in the summer or winter. Canmore is such a special place for us and has so much meaning to us, especially since our wedding there in May 2017. We also love to travel to Phoenix, Laguna Beach and Palm Springs!
